Spring in Minnesota! (2024!)

I know, I know. Nothing for a year and now two posts!?!

I ❤️ spring in MN. Nothing beats spring rains, spring flowers, green grass, the sun...it’s so pretty and reminds me that I need to be out there! Here are some of my favs! Got so lucky!!!

April 23, 2024 Eloise Butler Wildflower Garden at Theodore Wirth Regional Park (Minneapolis MN) - my second time at this garden and it won’t be my last! Hoped to beat the rain and/or hike after the rain, but got caught in it thankfully! Caught a double rainbow (smaller rainbow is behind the trees, you can see some of it!), saw some wildflowers, enjoyed the garden with minimal others. If you’ve never been, I highly recommend!

April 24, 2024 Como/Midway at Como Zoo - Saw a post on Instagram and needed to go check it out (had not been there in the past!). i had gone earlier in the week but it was so busy! Too many humans, so went back at sunrise to try my luck and thank goodness I did!! Doesn’t it look perfect?

April 26, 2024 - Smith Bridge overlook (High bridge overlook) - convinced myself I needed to go catch sunrise (it’s usually never a bad idea, this morning was no exception). I didn’t realize there would be flowers, and wow the colors?!??

May 7, 2024 Minnesota Landscape Arboretum - this place in spring is truly stunning, there will be soooooo many people out and about. Thus why I visited in the evening on a Tuesday 🙂 Got there in to catch the tulips and the crab apple blossoms!

Last but not least wandering around the St Paul Cathedral and the Minnesota State Capital on no particular day, though most usually early mornings 🙂
