On Saturday September 19, 2020 I did another day trip to the North Shore. Wow another early morning wake up call but totally worth it!
The hike itself is moderate. It was tough for me going up and down. If you attempt would recommend going counterclockwise. I went clockwise and felt like counterclockwise would have been the easier route.
I arrived in silver bay MN around 7:30am, parking lot was 80% full, when I got back down it was packed, with cars parked along the road on both sides. Also met tons of hikers on my way down so was glad I got there early and had a moment to myself at the top.
